Feathered Friends
All the subjects I photograph are my favorite, each and every one. But, my feathered friends are one of my most relaxing and enjoyable. My love of bird photography began with my first visit to Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Loleta, California. I have since began my “lifer list”, which is a list of all the birds I have seen for the first time and of course a picture I have captured. I absolutely love and get so much peace and joy watching these feathered creatures sing, hunt, fish, fly or just sit quietly enjoying the wind in their feathers and sun on their face.
